Using K-1 Clever Badges at Home

Grades K-1 use Clever badges to log in to their school laptops at home.

Your student needs:
1. Student's username. It is the part of their email address before the @pwcs-edu.org

2. Student's charged laptop

3. Student's Clever badge QR Code

4. Student's password


Before you can use your Clever badge at home your student MUST have logged into their laptop at school. If they haven't done this, they can access the PWCS Wi-Fi in any school parking lot.


How to use the Clever badge to log into your PWCS laptop

Set up your login
Step 1 Turn on your PWCS laptop. On the first screen, you will see a place for a username and password. Type in the student's username and password.

Step 2 In the right upper or lower corner look for the Wi-Fi icon.

Click on it and find your home Wi-Fi. Click on your home Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 Once you have accessed your home Wi-Fi, you can log off and log in again using the Clever badge. You will no longer need to log in with the student's username. From now on, the Clever badge will work.


Using your Clever badge
Step 1 Turn on your laptop. Next click ctrl+ alt + delete.

Step 2 Hold the Clever badge in front of the laptop's camera. It's at the top center of the laptop screen.
Wait a few seconds and you will be logged in. It may take about half a minute.
