Message from Principal Rudolph
July 29, 2026
Dear Vaughan Elementary Families and Community,
It is with great excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Vaughan Elementary School.
I am truly honored to join this incredible community and look forward to meeting each of you as we begin a wonderful school year together. I bring more than 20 years of experience in education, serving students and families as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and elementary principal. I hold a master's degree in special education and am passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every child feels seen, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
My family and I are excited to call Virginia home. My husband proudly serves in the United States Marine Corps, and together we have two daughters, one who is a rising sophomore in college and another who is a rising sophomore in high school. As both an educator and a parent, I understand the trust families place in schools each day, and I consider it a privilege to partner with you in your child's education.
I believe schools are at their best when they are built on strong relationships. My commitment is to foster a culture where students, families, and staff feel connected, supported, and valued. At Vaughan Elementary, our students will always know they are loved, they belong, and they are capable of extraordinary things. When children feel safe, respected, and encouraged, they develop the confidence to take risks, persevere through challenges, and discover their unique strengths.
As I begin my time at Vaughan, my first priority will be listening and learning. I look forward to getting to know our students, staff, families, and community while building upon the strong foundation that already exists. Together, we will continue to provide engaging learning experiences, celebrate student success, and create opportunities that empower every child to grow as a learner, leader, and citizen.
Thank you for welcoming my family and me into the Vaughan community! I am honored to serve as your principal and cannot wait to begin this journey alongside you.
Warm regards,
Brittni Rudolph
Principal
