2. Prodigy Math (Your child has their own username and password! This information was sent home!)
3. Use a ruler to measure various items in your house! (Use centimeters and inches!)
4. Read, read, read! (You can use the flip chart questions that were sent home to practice those comprehension skills!)
5. Stretch to Sketch (After reading a story, passage, or poem, have your student sketch what he or she visualized in their minds!)

Bags of Books

Bags of books on your child's reading level were sent home this afternoon! Please continue to read each night home! After reading, please use the flipchart of questions (located in the bag) to discuss the story! These conversations not only help strengthen reading comprehension skills, but oral language skills as well!

Every student is issued a Kindle to use at school each day! These Kindles will now be going home! Please check your student's backpack for his or her Kindle, charger, and login information. We hope that they enjoy getting to access this piece of technology from home! They will be returning these to school when we return, so please take good care of them!
